Now even better:
The new Bosch hammer generation confirms its top position in the two-kilo class

The most powerful rotary hammers in the two-kilo class are now even better: Bosch is replacing the GBH 2-26 DFR and DRE Professional models with a new rotary hammer generation.
The future models, the GBH 2-28 DFV Professional and GBH 2-28 DV Professional, offer 50 watts more power and 20 percent more impact energy than their predecessors, and remain the most powerful rotary hammers in their class. At the same time, vibration has been reduced by nearly 30 percent. This is made possible by active vibration damping, now introduced in SDS-plus rotary hammers for the first time anywhere in the world: a counter oscillator positioned in the gear housing permanently counteracts the air and mass forces from the hammer mechanism, therefore reducing the vibration levels from 15 m/s2 to 11 m/s2. As a result, professional tradesmen can now work with these tools for nearly twice as long as before.
High-powered tools for all finishing and installation trades
These tools have an impact energy of 3.2 joules and offer the highest drilling and chiseling performance in their class. It is just as easy to cut slots and channels with them as it is to drill rows of holes, for example to fit cabling or ducting.
Both tools have tried-and-tested product features such as continuously variable speed control for clean drilling starts, a rotating brush plate for equal power in forward and reverse rotation, a rotation stop for chiseling, a ball grommet to prevent cable breaks, and an SDS-plus toolholder. You can choose between the model with changeable chuck (DFV) and the model with fixed chuck (DV).
The rotary hammers GBH 2-28 DFV Professional and GBH 2-28 DV Professional will be available at specialist retail outlets.
