One of the ways of creating zero distance to the user...
Bosch Power Box Extension in Lagos Nigeria

One of the main objectives of the Bosch Power Box concept is to create zero distance to the user, in a drive to achieve that, another Bosch Box has surfaced in Africa West and the first in Nigeria. Located in Amu Wood Market in the commercial nerve center of Nigeria, Lagos State.

Amu Wood market is characterized by predominantly wood workers who use power tools for different applications. The market has an average daily visitors of over 2000 customers, and 1500 active traders. These artisans, due to the nature of their job require tools that makes their jobs extremely easier, efficient and tools that increases their turnover and productivity. The location of BPB at Amu market helps to achieve these objectives and even more. With the Standard Range Tools, Bosch is able to satisfy these real user needs in a quality, holistic and pragmatic manner.

The opening of the Box was also a good opportunity for the global and regional leaders of PT to interact with the association heads of the market and also get some vital feedback from the market. In a bid to provide a total package for the traders, Bosch Nigeria will also be partnering with micro finance institutions to provide easy, convenient and affordable repayment plans to the artisans.

To ensure sustainability, the Bosch Power Box is managed by a dealer who has over 10 years’ experience in the wood working materials, kitchen accessories and other building supplies business.

First key visitors to the BPB were: PTP, PT/SA-AF, PT-BE/RAF, and PT-AC/MKC-RAF.
