Bosch have established training academies in Midrand — Gauteng, Cape Town and Kwa-Zulu Natal offering training modules that meet all educational criteria and are recognised by industry and independent bodies such as GMBA and Build-safe South Africa.

In addition, Bosch offers these seminars countrywide at various locations suitable to the client. Bosch also undertakes tailor-made in-house training.

Basic Introduction to Power Tools

Sound product knowledge is the key to any successful company. Therefore, it is imperative to understand the basics of power tools and the relevant accessories to conclude a successful sale. Power Tool Safety

Safety in the work place is of utmost importance and more so when working with power tools. It has become legislation to have trained people on jobsites. To this end the Bosch power tool academy centres have developed a tailor-made seminar to enable users to understand that both the operators and their co-workers are at risk if safety procedures are not followed when working with power tools. Participants are taught the correct safety practices such as keeping tools in proper operating condition and following manufacturer guidelines on both portable and stationary tools.

The emphasis is on how to correctly use power tools. These courses are tailor-made to the relevant industry.

Industrial Wood Power Tools

During this module participants are taught the basics of wood working and the theory behind the relevant tools. In order for participants to fully understand the features and benefits of woodworking tools, emphasis is placed on practical applications.

During this seminar metalwork is taught on a broad scale. In addition to basic theory, emphasis is placed on practical use of the machines and its related range of accessories. These include angle grinders, straight grinders, nibblers, shears and drills.

This seminar is geared at teaching the complete aspect of stone and concrete working on a broad scale. Emphasis is placed on extensive practical work with machines and its associated accessories along with relevant theory.
