Why is the 18v cleaner not available in the UK?

Hi Piprin.

It is for the most part Asian - pacific only execution. It does not meet our European standards so is unlikely to be sold here.
We have not ignored the interest however. Something far better is going to be released for the UK market this year.

Something far better for the UK market this year? Oh, you are a tease. Good news though. Particularly if it comes with the power tool adapter and has decent capacity - as opposed to the "dustbuster" style of the Asian cordless Bosch vac.
One thing I miss when using my cordless tools with my vac (GAS 35l) is that with the corded tools, you've got the auto start of the vac (with the tool plugged into it). Would take some clever electrickery to do that with an 18v cordless tool/vac combo I know - but here's hoping.

Bailey I had read what you said about using a cordless tool with a dust extractor and then afterwards I saw on a tool forum that dewalt have come up with something that works like you say with cordless tools ! As for the new 18v Hoover I'm looking forward to that one as I have the Korean one which isn't the best.
