How come Bosch doesn't have a decent 18 volt work light?
I allready bought Ryobi 18v LED P720 20 watt Hybrid Work Light and made it compatibele with my Bosch batteries.
Real thing from Bosch would be much better tho...

I believe they have a 18V work light. Bosch GLI Vari LED.
I think it looks pretty good with variable beam width and I am thinking of getting one.

This light isn't bad.

Being small, it excels in lighting up less accessible places like roof spaces & underfloors for close-range task lighting.  A reasonable amount of adjustability (bean focus and angle) and battery charge longevity helps here also.

Where it fails is in area lighting.  It simply isn't meant to be capable of floodlighting a dark room on a grey day, for example.  Although I've never used one, I'd suggest this is where the more specialised LED lidded L-Boxx lighting would excel.  Being mounted in an L-boxx, these can be stacked (on themselves or other convenient boxes) to form a "light tower" to more effectively illuminate a workspace.  More power (lumens) for more intense area lighting is traded off against a decreased battery charge life.  This of course will be even less of a problem with bigger 6.0ah batteries now available.
