Hi all,

What / how do you guys think / use / compare:

• SDS clic Quick-Locking Nut M14 — 1 603 340 031
• Quick-clamping nut with bar M14 — 2 608 000 684

I’ve seen people use one OR the other, and post about it… but none comparing both.

Bosch own recent YouTube videos tend to use the “Quick-clamping nut with bar” when comparing to their own X-Lock system.

For us, the main issue with the SDS clic Quick-Locking Nut M14 is that it does not fit inside the 3M CG-RD GP Scotch Brite (which is fantastic for mill scale or paint removal without affecting the metal substrate). The diameter is huge.

Any other thoughts, please? Why have you chosen one over the other?

Hi, I bought the aeg fixtec nut in 1999/2000 and one angle grinder made in germany "atlas copco" with toolless nut in 2002, used since. Later 1 bosch sds clic, right now in a large angle grinder. They are different, the other is thinner, more compact, smooth.

Hey, thanks!

Yeah, so far, most of what I hear is that the locking nut with the bar is used more often, being more compact / thinner.
