Hi Bob, also where can I get hold of a paralell guide for this saw? I have always used one and see it as a standard part but it seems to be missing from the list of accessories although I did find a part no. Just no one selling it.

Was going to ask same question, looks like you have to enquire with your local dealer, see if they can order it. Ray Grahams online sell some accesories for this saw, decent prices, they should be able to order also.

As Tomas said. We don't have much say on what dealers want to keep in stock but there should be no problem in them ordering one for you. The only alternative could be a Bosch system specialist store which normally has a wider range of Bosch tool & accessories than a 'normal' dealer.

Hi Everyone

I am new on this forum and i would like to share my experience with Bosch plunge saw .

I have used the saw several times since i have bought it early last year, unfortunately the plunge saw have broken after really light duty. They have stated that main bearing and some additional staff must to be replaced and quoted the cost or repair for over 200£, the machine was still under warranty.

Within two months of repair i have used the machine once or twice mayby for fitted wardrobe and gues what have happened again?  Yes ,the machine is broken again after one month of warranty period , main bearing.

Call me and idiot however i did not registered the machine for 3 years warranty.

The power tool is faulty or i am very unlucky that within a year of really light duty , ocasionally only,  the tool is broken twice.

I have spent Thousends for Bosch power tools and if they will not accept the broken machine for at least free repair i will be purchasing Dewalt , Makita , Festoolfrom now on because i ridiculous that they sell such an cr...p.

Please be aware with the tool .

Kind regards

Marek

Hello everyone. I am new to this site and would like to introduce myself. I am novice wood worker here in the USA and a huge fan of Bosch tools. I have been considering getting the Festool track saw, but when I saw the GKT 55, I had to get one. Unfortunately they are not sold in the USA. Does anyone know if Bosch will make this available in a US model? If not, could I still purchase the European version and use a power converter? Any help would be wonderful. Thanks.

I wouldn't be able to tell you if the US is going to add this model to their range. I can only advise over UK and Euro range. My only suggestion would be to try and get in contact with them.
