Hi All,

I am in need of a Dust Extraction Cover for my GWS 18V-LI (Part: 0 601 93A 30A) so got myself the "Cutting guide with dust extraction outlet with brush ring" (2 605 510 224) as it said 115mm/125mm. Turns out though my specific model is not covered by this and wondered

If there is one, what the correct dust extraction cover is for my model
or
How I can modify the 125mm one I have to work

Thanks in Advance

Hello dillonchris.
It's clear as mud from Bosch regarding dust extraction covers for their cordless grinders to be honest. You could try the 1605510281 variant as this has a bolted/clamping collar unlike the 2 605 510 224 variant you were looking at.
Myself, I've been looking at the Herzo Universal Surface Grinding Dust Shroud ( HERE). Not only does it have a cam lock making it quick release but has a brush skirt and several bushings for a range of collar sizes. Might buy myself one as a crimbo present and do a review for the new year.

Thanks bailey

Got a Herzo Universal (cheaper on Amazon by the way) as I needed to crack on with the job. Its good, but for my particular grinder, the cam lock doesn't go quite tight enough. Not loose but not tight either so may have to mess around with some duct tape to pad it out a bit.

Would say it is a pretty solid item. Not cheap and flimsy plastic and the brush surround is quite thick, certainly denser than the Bosch. Now I just need to muck about with getting the hose connection tight. The rubber connecting bung is tapered at one end but not the other which is not ideal and it seems to be identical gauge to my Festool vac.

Was able to test it though. Reckon 80% reduction in the amount of dust using this. Not delighted but not unhappy either.
