Ive just bought 3 Bosch power tools with L-BOXXs.
I want to remove the white security label on the corner and the coloured labels which were half peeling off.
Whats the best way to get them off and the glue residude they leave behind? Ive tried water, WD40 as suggested on another forum (left a oily mess) any ideas?
Dont understand why Bosch use such stickers? The printed coloured ones the edges are all peeling and the security corner one is stuck over the raised BOSCH logo on the catch so makes it a nightmare to remove

I have found the best way is a bit of gentle heat from something like a hairdryer to soften up the label glue, then VERY SLOWLY peel off.

If any residue left, give it a quick once over with the hairdryer and use a piece of the removed label to press onto the remaining glue, and it usually lifts it away completely.

Take your time and keep warning it up with the hairdryer and it will remove all the label and residue without leaving anything behind. Its a bit tedious, but this is the approach I have found that gets it all off cleanly.

Good luck!

Apologies for the OPR, but the best way I've found to remove stickers from L-Boxes is to first peel of the glossy membrane and then apply a small amount of turpentine, white spirit with paper towel and leave for a little while.

It should just scrape/wipe off using and old bank/loyaly card.

Then just a dab of neat Fairy (other washing up liquids are available) and rinse of with warm water.

Hey presto, all traces gone with very little effort.

Then it's just the issue of locating a particular item from 20+ L-Boxxes.

BTW, **Old Post Ressurection** ;)
