Hello all.
I bought the Bosch I-Boxx + I-Rack + 117 Accessories set on eBay recently. It retails for GBP49 but I got mine for 38.
It appears a good deal at first. These Sortimo drawers and racks can get costly.
Once I opened mine and tried it out, it was clear I should have just bought an I-Boxx and a 72mm deep drawer or I-rack. The 53mm one that comes with the set is too shallow to be of much use beyond being paired with a 92mm drawer in the LS-Boxx.
The bit sets are pretty poor quality. Alright for now-and-again use, DIY say, but not much cop otherwise. The best of the set were the wood drill bits (3-10mm). The driver bit set had a good range - even slot head bits! - but again, you can feel they're a cheap set. They've proved to not be up to much at work.
The HSS "metal" drill bits are the worst. You can get away with using them on aluminium but that's it.
It's a shame. I was really happy when I spotted this set for sale. "Finally" I thought, they're put rack sets together. Great idea badly executed as far as I'm concerned.
What I'd like to see deals on is a stack of I-Boxxes, with lid and drawers. You can't buy this as a Bosch branded set in the UK. A 3-stack of I-Boxxes and a lid yes, but no drawers or racks. No idea why.
Anyway, video review below.

yeah i looked at this too as the rack and drawer are £33 on its own and this meant all those drills for £5 ? so come on you didnt expect them to be quality did you ? anyway i didnt as i currently have a 5 drawer rack setup in my van and i love it yes their is not a lot of room in them but for drill bits raw plugs and tool pouches [trend] there ideal and they dont slip out of there slides so great and i have got some bosch drills mainly masonry and auger bits and i have to say im still using a masonary bits, the multi purpose ones that i bought over 5 years ago and it must have hammered through over a 100 bricks now and concrete and wood and the odd nail and their still going great and my 22 and 25mm auger bits have seen hundreds of doors hard and soft and they too are still good and the worm drive flawless but those werent cheap and i never expected them to last as long as they have so all that said i do like the Bosch rack system as its easy to fit with the rest of my Bosch gear and its easy to keep all the silly bits and pieces together

Hello malky.
This is the reason I picked up the set. With all the bit sets included, it looked too good to be true - and so it proved to be. This is what an honest review should do - serve as a buying guide, or a warning sometimes.
My review of this set will hopefully serve as a warning that it is not in fact good value - especially with the retail of £49.99 (i bought mine for £38 second hand but unopened)! My buying advice in the review is to just buy an I-Boxx and I-Rack/drawer on their own.
I like the I-Rack and I-Boxx system but stand by what I said. If you buy an I-Boxx, pair it with a 72mm drawer or rack. The 53mm rack just doesn't make best use of space and when bought separately, the 72mm racks are no more expensive than the 53mm. The 53mm only makes sense when paired with a 92mm drawer in the LS-Boxx.
I didn't expect much of the bit sets. I only realised they were available on their own when researching online and found CampbellMiller sell them for just over £5 for the drill bit sets and £8 for the driver bit sets. They're not sets I'd seen on thier own before. As the price point suggests, they're DIY or "infrequent use" quality. The HSS bits are really bad and would be a total waste of a fiver if bought on their own. The wood bits are OK and cut very nicely at first but they do blunt very quickly. The driver bit sets has a good variety but the bits don't last. Great for the odd job round the house but that's about it.
If you watched the vid, you'll see I compare the result of the HSS bits from this set with the new Bosch Impact Control hex HSS bits. Where the cheap HSS bits barely marked the steel, the Impact Control ones flew through it. And they will time and again. The steel on these is good enough quality to resharpen and use for years no doubt.
In the vid you might have noticed another Bosch tough box I had on the side. This contains HSS metal bits too. I've had these for 3 years and they're excellent and again, the steel is good enough quality to have resharpened. Of course this set, like the Impact Control, is a £30 set. I have a set of Bosch green masonry bits that are excellent quality too. They've been with me for 7 years now and stiil go strong.
You get what you pay for though. Bosch do some amazing accessories but, when they put out shite, I will say so
