Hi Guys,

Good News! This product is in our plans for 2017, however the release date is being kept a secret for the time being - we've got to keep you guys on your toes from time to time...

Keep an eye out on our website and facebook page for further updates over the coming weeks/months.

Not before time!  I've felt that the Bosch Saber saws were a fairly weak link in their tool range.  I found that the blade change collar was problematic and potentially slightly dangerous to use in ungloved hands.  Limited access to the manual release knob, burns from a hot blade that required pulling from the receptor, and occasional cuts from the still sharp, unused section of blade adjacent to the mount are unfortunately regular occurrences with the older, inferior design. My biggest concern, however, was their tendency for having a "hair trigger",  where the throttle's transition from dead slow to flat out was a mere millimeter or two, making the task of feathering the "throttle" in delicate, easily damaged substrates nigh on impossible!

Not all users have the requirement for a rapid, brutal demolition saw, despite the connotations associated with this nomenclature.  A quality saber saw should have similar characteristics to any other type of manual, hand-held keyhole saw: soft and slow with a progressive and easily manipulated transition to fast and aggressive if and only when required!

The pictured saw obviously addresses the former problem of rapid, safe blade change, and hopefully also the latter.
