Inserting/Changing the Battery

It is recommended that you use alkaline manganese non-rechargeable batteries to operate the measuring tool.

  1. Open the battery compartment cover.
  1. Insert the non-rechargeable batteries.

When the empty battery symbol  first appears on the display, only a limited number of measurements are still possible.When the battery symbol is empty and flashes, no further measurements are possible.

Always replace all the non-rechargeable batteries at the same time. Only use non-rechargeable batteries from the same manufacturer and which have the same capacity.
When inserting the batteries, ensure that the polarity is correct according to the illustration on the inside of the battery compartment.
  • Take the non-rechargeable batteries out of the measuring tool if you are not using it for a long time. The non-rechargeable batteries can corrode and self-discharge during prolonged storage.
