MeasureOn is your app for easy on-site documentation of floor plans, measurements, photos, and notes.
MeasureOn helps save time when measuring, documenting, and calculating quantities. Benefit from a high degree of flexibility and process your data anywhere on all devices – on the construction site, at the office, on the move, or at home.
With the app, everything is brought together in one place: the digital workspace. Start your project, sketch floor plans as individual rooms within the flexible workspace, and add photos and notes according to your personal needs.
Use your laser range finder and your smart device to capture measurements instantly and insert them error-free into the app. Document wall dimensions including doors and windows directly from your laser range finder via Bluetooth®.
Organize your projects, record measured values even more easily, document them more clearly, and process them faster. Avoid mistakes when entering measurements manually. Save time, money, and nerves.
Usually measurements are put on paper manually from your laser range finder or folding meter, with the risk of making a mistake when transferring measurements.
Your efficiency upgrade: a list of measurements – easily transferred via Bluetooth® – that is available at any time and intuitive to use via drag & drop.
Floor plans and measurements documented by hand on paper cannot be shared directly with colleagues or other contractors, leading to more hassle.
Your efficiency upgrade: save time by simply exporting measurements, workspaces, or individual elements and sharing them with colleagues, contractors, and clients.
Measurements written down or saved in different places (e.g. photos on mobile phones, notes, scraps of paper) delay the estimation and offer process.
Your efficiency upgrade: after creating a floor plan and adding measurements, the app automatically calculates floor areas, wall areas, and the room’s perimeter.

The MeasureOn app can be downloaded in the Apple App Store and in the Google Play Store.
Go to “Settings” → “Video tutorial”.
A tablet version will be available at the beginning of 2021.
The app is available for Android and iOS tablets and smartphones. Other operating systems are not supported.
Supported Android devices: Bluetooth®-enabled smartphones and tablets from Android with Android 8 or higher.
Supported iOS devices: iOS 11 or higher.
A transfer of data is not possible. If you want to save your data from Measuring Master / PLR measure&go, we recommend you to create a .pdf document of your old data, using the export function in the respective apps.
On iOS, MeasureOn needs access to your Bluetooth settings, as this is needed to establish a connection between the App and a device. Furthermore, MeasureOn requires access to your camera for the photo markup function.
On Android MeasureOn needs access to your Bluetooth settings, as this is needed to establish a connection between the App and a device.
Go to “Settings” → “Language”, to see which languages the app is available in.
Go to “Settings” → “Decimal place” and “Measurement unit”, to change unit and decimal.

First, make sure that Bluetooth® is activated on the measuring tool and on the smartphone / tablet and that the devices are within range. After that, you can tap on the Bluetooth® icon and your device will be visible in the menu. To connect with your device for the first time, tap on “connect” in the Bluetooth® menu. Please note that the connection must always be established via the app, not via the settings menu of your smartphone / tablet.
If the tool has been connected to the app before, it will reconnect automatically.
You can always connect one device at a time.
Depending on on-site conditions (obstacles, sunlight, etc.) and your smartphone / tablet, it is possible to maintain a connection between your smartphone / tablet and the measuring tool from 10 to approximately 30 meters.
Please check in the settings on your iPhone / iPad whether the Bluetooth® permission for MeasureOn has been granted, which is a prerequisite for a successful connection. Go to “Settings” → “MeasureOn” → Enable Bluetooth.
It is also important that the connection is established directly in the MeasureOn app and not in the settings of your smartphone/tablet. If you have connected your laser range finder in the settings of your smart phone / tablet, please disconnect it there and connect it directly in MeasureOn.
If you are still having problems with the connection, please contact us at Support.MeasureOn@bosch.com.
Check whether the permission for location services for MeasureOn are granted on your Android device and GPS is enabled. This is a Google requirement in order to connect Bluetooth. We as Bosch don’t get access to your location, as this is an Android prerequisite. Furthermore, establish the Bluetooth connection directly in the App and not in the general settings.
