Take-back of scrap tools
The Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act in force since 2007 requires that manufacturers meet a quota for recycling and recovery of usable materials from scrap tools. Against this background, the current participation of Robert Bosch Ltd in a consortium consisting of multiple manufacturers of power tools, electrical welding equipment and garden tools is a logical step. A waste disposal company working on behalf of this consortium collects tools from the communal collection points and disposes of them in an environmentally-friendly way.
As many materials as possible are recycled to avoid unnecessary environmental damage.
