CONNECT IN JUST FOUR STEPS

1. Download the app

Get the app from the Google Play Store or the App Store, log in and get started straight away.

2. Prepare your tool

Remove the module cover with a screwdriver or a coin. Insert the GCY-42 Bluetooth Low Energy module and a coin battery into your tool. Close the compartment again and switch on your tool.

3. Activate Bluetooth®

Activate Bluetooth® on your smartphone. Your tool and your smartphone must be close to each other in order to connect.*

4. Connect to PRO360

PRO360 shows all nearby tools with active Bluetooth. Select your tool and connect it with the plus button.

On Android smartphones, you may need to activate location services in order to connect to your tool. This is due to the Android operating system. The PRO360 app does not track your location.

Frequently asked questions

Tool pairing

Why do I now have to use the PRO360 app and no longer the MyTools function in the Toolbox app?

To make it as easy as possible for you, we bring together all tool-specific features in the PRO360 app. Handling the connectivity functions has been significantly simplified and is now even faster. You can also use many other inventory and service functions in PRO360.

How can I prepare my tool for pairing?

Check whether your GCY-42 Bluetooth® module is inserted and the tool is switched on.

What can I do if my tool is not equipped with a Bluetooth® module?

Step-by-step guide:
1. Remove the cover for the Bluetooth® module on the power tool, e.g. using a screwdriver or a large coin. Using unsuitable objects can damage the electronics or the cover.
2. Insert the Bluetooth® module (e.g. GCY-42; "CoMo" module) into the tool
3. Insert the coin cell battery ( 3 V 2032 lithium coin cell)

Place the battery in the GCY 42 with the plus terminal facing upwards
There is no need to press down on the battery as the battery does not click into place

4. Press the power tool's on/off switch the initialise the GCY 42 after inserting the battery

What can I do if I want to pair an older tool?

At the moment, you can only pair tools with a built-in Bluetooth® module or tools in which you can insert a Bluetooth® module.

How can I pair a tool for the first time?

Step-by-step guide:
1. Make sure that your Bluetooth® is switched on
2. Click on the "Connect" button to pair your tool
3. Give your permission for the app to use Bluetooth®
4. Once the right tool is found, click on the plus
5. Click on the "Done" button to return to the detailed product page where you can see the control functions

What can I do if my tool is not shown?

Make sure that the tool is switched on by pressing the "On" button once. Your tool should be as close as possible to your smartphone; you should have Bluetooth® activated on your smartphone and, if you are using an Android smartphone, also activate location services.

What can I do if I want to pair a tool that is registered to a different PRO360 account?

Each tool can be registered in several PRO360 accounts and this does not influence the connectivity functions.

How can I adjust the revolutions per minute?

Step-by-step guide:
1. Click on the "Speed levels" button
2. Set the revolutions per minute for your speed level
3. Once you have set the revolutions per minute, click on the "Apply settings" button
4. For safety reasons, you need to physically confirm changes to the revolutions per minute on your tool
5. Congratulations, you've successfully adjusted the revolutions per minute

How can I change the work light?

Step-by-step guide:
1. Click on the "Work light" button to configure the work light
2. Depending on the tool, you can:

Switch the light on/off
Adjust the afterglow brightness
Adjust the afterglow duration in five-second increments

How can I change the user interface light?

Step-by-step guide:
1. Click on the "User interface light" button to configure the user interface light
2. Depending on the tool, you can:

Adjust the afterglow brightness
Adjust the afterglow duration in five-second increments (from 0 to 95 seconds)
