If there was ever any good advice it was "don't skimp on the small things."

Lubricants perform important tasks such as friction and wear reduction, power transfer, cooling, and vibration damping. So if you have invested in the top of the range powertools don't neglect looking after them and remember the Bosch range of original greases and oils.

We say "Original lubricants instead of compromises"

All parts of the tool fulfil their function again and deliver their  accustomed performance.
Abrasion and wear of the parts are as low as possible.
The operating time between service intervals is increased.
The lifetime of the entire tool is retained and increased.

Nice to see "Bob" back on the forum!

However it would have been nice if you could have started off by answering one of the many thread/questions that have been neglected before peddling products.

That would be great, if i could find out which lubricant and how many should i use on my PHB 180 RE gears, because on the bosch-parts whatever site, it isnt listed. Literally cant find anything usable information.

Hi hirsch4700.
This thread is pretty old now and it seems that Bob's link doesn't direct to lubricants at all - not anymore at least.
I wonder if it was an attempt to spark interest in genuine lubricants, which failed? You can still find Bosch power tool gear box lubes/grease online but they're usually from the US or EU.

Trying to find bosch tool grease in the UK is like hunting unicorn eggs though!

I have greases from different manufacturers, bearing grease, gearbox grease vp 720.
My other non bosch angle grinder 125mm / 230mm needs different greases ( NLGI hardness of a grease )

Don't forget the sds-plus.
