request for a digital bluetooth tape measure for materials

Hi folks.

OK, we have our laser measurement systems, they're great for room measurements and plotting, but even the most high end has a mimimum distance of 5cm and a measurement tolerance which is fine for room / site measurement, but not for materials.

Yes, standard tape measures are fine for measurement of sheet or joist based goods, etc, but there are moments where a bluetooth digital tape measure would be a huge help, such as logging measurements of materials to be cut, measurements of kitchen units and other measurements where data could be sent to your mobile device or computer ready for data to go to CAD software for plotting / analysis, etc. If Bosch could come out with something like this, it would be a huge game changer.
