The Dust Control Test gives you the chance to test and keep our easy-to-use Dust Control kits for free – as long as you post a video reviewing it.

You can register between Monday 13th May 2024 and Sunday 2nd June.

We’ll keep you updated via email. You will receive an email by 30th June 2024, informing you if you have been selected to participate in the Dust Control Test. Due to the limited availability of tools for this promotion, we unfortunately cannot take all received applications into consideration. Your understanding is appreciated.

Our selection criteria is simple: Make sure you fill in all sections of the registration form. Give us a persuasive answer to the question: "Why would you like to join the Dust Control Test?"

You’re a tradesperson, so show us that you are a professional and create a video inspired by your daily work. Don’t worry, we're not looking for a sales pitch! Instead, we're looking for an honest, expert review. Put the tool to the test in a real-life scenario to provide an insightful demonstration. To help you out, here is a list of pro tips for your video.

Please make sure you meet the deadline for your video! After receiving your package, you have exactly 4 weeks to post your video online and share the link(s) with us. We consider the day the package is delivered as day 1 and the video submission deadline is exactly 28 days later, no matter if the deadline falls on a weekend or public holiday. For example: If you receive your package on Monday, 01.07.2024, your deadline is Sunday, 28.07.2024.

Please note the terms of participation and the data protection notice. In particular, third parties must not be filmed without their consent.

You are only allowed to use licence- and royalty-free music. We recommend using Google to find suitable music by searching under licence-free and royalty-free music.

1. Post the video to your social media channel(s) within 4 weeks of receiving the package*:

Use the following hashtags so that all participants can see your video: *#dustcontrol #boschprofessional and make sure your accounts are set to public so that your video is visible. Clearly mark your video/post as an ‘advertisement’ or ‘promotional video’.

2. Tell us where you‘ve posted! Within 4 weeks of receiving the tool, you must use the link provided in our email to share your video with us.

*The guidelines of the respective platform provider must be strictly observed. If the participant does not comply with these regulations and Bosch become aware of this, the participant shall be obliged to delete the post immediately at the request of Bosch. Bosch shall also be entitled to exclude the participant from the promotion. When making the videos, date protection regulations must also be observed. Third parties must not be filmed without their consent.

We'll check if your video meets all the criteria mentioned in our terms of participation. If this is the case, you can keep the tool free of charge! Important: Please make sure you use the exact link provided in our email to share your video with us.

There is currently no automated status tracking for applications as we process each one individually. However, we will definitely inform you of any major updates via email in a timely manner.

You can withdraw your participation at any time. Simply send us an email at boschpro@clearb2b.com with the subject line ‘Dust Control Test’ and explain the situation. We will be happy to assist you.

If you don't submit a video, you're free to test the Dust Control kit for 4 weeks, after which you can return the Dust Control kit to us free-of-charge. Please contact us at boschpro@clearb2b.com with the subject line "Dust Control Test" to coordinate the return of your tool.

You are expected to follow the recommended safety requirements in full as described in the tool’s user manual. The user manual is included with the tool that will be sent to you.

DO:

Do be honest and insightful: We’re not looking for a sales pitch, we’re looking for an expert review from a professional tradesperson. Put the tool to the test in a real-life scenario to provide an insightful demonstration.

Do show the best angles: Make sure viewers can clearly see you testing the tool up close in the video.

Do use the right format & licence-free music: Video length should be between 30 seconds and 5 minutes. If you use music, please make sure it is royalty-free!

Do use good lighting & sound: Make sure you and the tool are clearly visible. Do a sound-check before filming. A good location can make all the difference!

Do use a tripod (or cameraperson): Filming yourself is amateurish at best, and dangerous at worst! Ask a buddy to do the filming for you.

Do show tools on their "sunny" side: Viewers should be able to see the Bosch logo and model name.

DON’T:

Don’t forget to wear your safety gear on film. PROs put safety first. Plus, it’s a legal thing.

Don’t multi-task while filming. Only talk to the camera before or after using the tool. It’s safer for you and this way the noise of the tool won’t prevent viewers from hearing what you have to say.

Don’t film third parties without their consent or let third parties handle the tools.

Don’t show tools from other power tool brands in your video.
